 The higher education delegation from KRG, along with Afghan, Nepali, Cambodian and Indian delegates attended the Malaysian Qualification Agency MQA internship program,  which took place from 12 to 22 December 2011 in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The Kurdish delegation included Dr. Sherwan Kafoor, Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Dilan Roshani, IT Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Dana Tofik, Director of Quality Assurance at Silémaní University and Ms.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Dr. Dlawer A. Ala'Aldeen met with a delegation on a high level, which included the president of the Malopolska regional government, the Regional Parliament, Polish Ambassador in Iraq, the representatives of four well known universities in the Malopolska Region and KRG’s representative in Poland.
